ECDL

The ECDL is a world recognised qualification. The 7 ECDL modules are: Basic Concepts of Information Technology, Using a Computer and Managing Files, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Presentation, Information and Communication. The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) Course is a very enjoyable course and covers a wide variety of topics used in every day use of the computer. Classes are delivered on a step by step basis.


This course has 7 modules in total and covers the following areas:

  • Module 1 - Basic Concepts of Information Technology

  • Module 2 - Using a Computer and Managing Files

  • Module 3 - Word Processing

  • Module 4 - Spreadsheets

  • Module 5 - Database

  • Module 6 - Presentation

  • Module 7 - Information and Communication  

Upon successful completion of modules, students can progress to the ECDL Advanced Course. The Advanced modules are available in Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Database and Presentations Students are required to have successfully passed this module in the ECDL prior to taking the ECDL Advanced Exam.

This is a 20 week course

The cost of the course is €550 which includes all course material, ECDL Skills Card and Qualification. There are no extra charges if re-sits are required for exams.
